We started Gheek Beauty because we grew up watching these rituals firsthand: ghee massaged into tired feet, oil settled into the navel at night, herbs prepared slowly with clear intention.
These rituals look simple on the surface, but they carry centuries of accumulated knowledge about how to care for a living, changing body. We built this brand to preserve and highlight this traditional wisdom so the next generations can benefit, too.

At the core of many of our formulations is the concept of sneha kalpana, the traditional method of infusing herbs into a lipid base. Our family has been making ghee from scratch since 1889, so naturally, we use ghee as the base for our herbal infusions.

Rather than building products around rigid skin type categories, we formulate for skin states, so that what you reach for on the shelf can actually meet you where you are and adapt alongside you as your needs shift over time.
We package many of our products in Miron violet glass because what’s inside deserves protection. The glass blocks most visible light, which can break down delicate ingredients like vitamin C, retinol, and botanicals, so your skincare stays fresh and effective from the first drop to the last. It’s also non-reactive and fully recyclable, which makes it better for your skin and for the planet.
Our products are made with the help of plants, so we give back to them. We donate 1% of every sale to United Plant Savers, a nonprofit that protects at-risk native medicinal plants and the wild places they grow. Since 1994, they’ve worked to keep plants like American ginseng and goldenseal thriving through habitat conservation, sanctuary stewardship, and education, so these plants are here for generations to come. When you choose us, you help protect them too.

Our balms and oils start with ghee and herbs, cooked slowly the way Ayurvedic herbalists have made them for generations. The Gheek Institute is the learning side of Gheek Beauty. It's where we share what we know about Ayurveda, herbs, and how these preparations are made, so you can understand what you're putting on your skin.
We also support United Plant Savers, a nonprofit that protects native medicinal plants and the places they grow. The plants we use matter to us, and we want them around for a long time.

Every Gheek Beauty product starts with a simple base of ghee, plant oils, and butters. These are rich fats that sit well on skin, and we make our products without added water.
The herbs come next. We cook whole herbs slowly into the ghee and oils using a traditional Ayurvedic method called Sneha Kalpana. Think of how tea flavors water: heat and time pull the plant's goodness into the oil, and then the herbs are strained out. Any water in the pot cooks off, so what ends up in the jar is the ghee or oil and what the herbs gave it.
