The Paada Soundarya ritual draws inspiration from classical Ayurvedic traditions of caring for the feet through botanical preparations and nourishing lipids.

This complete set brings together five preparations designed to work as a sequence, each step building on the last, guiding the skin from softened and cleansed through to deeply nourished and restored.

At the heart of the ritual is the Navel & Foot Ritual Ghee, crafted using traditional Sneha Kalpana, a classical Ayurvedic method of slowly infusing medicinal herbs into ghee over gentle heat. Surrounding it are a mineral herbal soak, a purifying botanical clay mask, a rich lipid-based repair cream, and a grounding Ayurvedic foot oil.

The ritual is designed for the evening, when the body begins to slow and the skin is most receptive to nourishment.

The full ritual is best practiced in the evening, once or twice a week. The Nourish Navel & Foot Ghee, Kansa Wand, and Restore Foot Cream can be used nightly.

Step 1: Soften
Foot Soak
Add 2–3 TBSP per 1-2 gallons of warm water. Soak feet for 15–20 minutes. Use warm, not hot water. Test temp before soaking.

Step 2: Purify
Foot Mask
Mix a small amount of powder with water or rose water to form a smooth paste. Apply an even layer to clean feet, focusing on heels and dry areas. Leave on for 10–15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Kasturi Manjal (wild turmeric) may temporarily tint the skin. this is normal and will fade.

Step 3: Nourish
Navel & Foot Ghee
Massage half a pea-sized amount in the navel. Then, massage a small amount into the soles of the feet using hands or a kansa wand, focusing on the heels, arches, and balls of the feet.

Step 4: Enhance
Kansa Wand
After applying a small amount of oil or balm to the soles of the feet, massage using gentle, circular or sweeping motions for 5-10 minutes per foot. Wipe with damp cloth, and store in the provided Gheek Beauty jute bag.

Step 5: Restore
Foot Cream
Apply a small amount to clean skin and massage until absorbed. Suitable for daily use on feet and other dry areas. Use after oil or ghee application to help lock in moisture and support overnight care.

Oils and ghee may make feet slippery after application. Allow to absorb before standing or walking. Wipe off excess and consider wearing socks.
